For me, praise and worship is far more than just music; it’s a response to the workings of God in my life.  More than anything, I want to share with others in worship, inviting people to participate in the glorification of God’s name, and to experience intimate conversation through His Holy Spirit.  Worship provides an opportunity to re-channel my focus, to restore what may be broken, and to change lives through Jesus.

 

I grew up in La Grande, Oregon and have been in love with singing for as long as I can remember.  I began by singing worship for the La Grande First Presbyterian Church, of which I have been a member for about ten years.  Throughout high school, I sang for various mission trips and Vacation Bible Schools, and have since found music to be a passionate way to express my sentiments and gratefulness to God.  Now I’ve found a home in Spokane and am grateful to be part of the Latah Valley First Presbyterian Church community.  It is so important to sing with a heart focused on God, and to provide opportunities that give people a voice for their own personal worship.
